GOD's WORD NEVER strokes our pride, in fact, it does quite the opposite. It kills it, and in the process, it causes offense and makes you angry because it shoots straight into the heart of who we really are.
We live in a world that desires to be governed by "Self". Rebellion and Supercilious has fortified its immoral stance on every corner of every city and is preaching "live your own life", "do whatever feels good or right to you", and many are buying into it.
They have even stepped in through the doors of your home and are now comfortably sitting in your living rooms while seducing you in the bedrooms. You have offered it food, drink, and company, and now you are wondering why your life, your home, your marriage, and your children are in such helter skelter.
