Watch for the Absalom Spirit

Be careful and watchful for the Absalom spirit that would desire to usurp your authority. After usurpation comes a vicious attempt or an assassination to "dethrone" you from your place. 

An Absalom movement brings division, confusion, pretense, and all manner of evil. This very scenario was encountered by King David in 2 Samuel 13:13-37--15:12, when his son Absalom revolted against him. When his conspirators and use-to-be loyal friends joined in the fight, it led King David and those who remained faithful to him straight into the wilderness. However, it was the wilderness experience of despondency and sorrow and of betrayal and sadness that led King David to ascend to the throne of GOD. It is right there, in that sacred and secret place of the Most High that the LORD will release His wisdom, comfort, and strategy.

King David, although he fled, DID NOT relinquish his position, kingdom, and authority. He sought to go to war and meet head-to-head with his own son and his foolish followers. But imagine how devastating this undermining blow must have made him feel; for David was a father who loved his son. Yet, he DID NOT permit such an act of treason and dishonor to go unpunished even from his own child. He didn't brush it "under the carpet" as some parents brush things away. HE DEALT WITH IT!

Parents, it doesn't matter how old your children are! When your children revolt or underhandedly aspire to do things that are not pleasing in the sight of GOD, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to lay things straight by bringing rebuke, correction, and tough love when needed. Now, whether they receive the correction and repent is up to them; however, they will reap the reward of their own works and bear the fruit of their own choices. 

When family, friends, or people rise up against you, let that very evil work propel you to the Mercy Seat of GOD. Like King David, MEET IT HEAD-TO-HEAD but let it also bring you to a place of humility instead of pride; a place of forgiveness instead of bitterness. For the LORD GOD will not allow injustice to reign over you. Psalm 23 says that He will PREPARE a table even in the midst of your enemies and He will ANOINT your head with oil. In other words, He will empower and strengthen you. 

Be comforted because the LORD will unveil the falsehood of those who secretly plan and devise mischief against you and those who would even seek your favor for deceitful conspiracies.

BE IT KNOWN that GOD's protection ASPIRES when people CONSPIRE!

Learn the ROOTS of Its Historical Background!

There are no 'SECRET SOCIETIES' in God's Kingdom. God is LIGHT and He puts things clearly on the table. Be careful of "groups" and "orders" that practice these types of characteristics. You wouldn't believe how many Christians are blindly affiliated with such a one.

 

A good soldier of GOD's Kingdom understands, first - GOD's Orders, and second, who and what he "affiliates" himself with.  A wise soldier doesn't make blind covenants because of his "family history". Exodus 23:13 "Be careful to do everything I have said to you. Do not invoke the names of other gods; do not let them be heard on your lips.

A wise and prudent son/daughter will investigate the truth about any "group" or "order", what they stand for, and most importantly, LEARN THE ROOT OF ITS HISTORICAL BACKGROUND. People do your homework. Check its theological doctrines and teachings and compare it to the Word of God to see if it is biblically sound; for many are trusting the words and "wisdom" of others rather than checking for themselves and are being deceived without ever realizing it.

KNOW and UNDERSTAND what the WORD of GOD teaches for yourself while allowing the HOLY SPIRIT to teach and lead you into ALL TRUTH; otherwise, you'd be ever learning but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth (2 Timothy 3:7). Exodus 7:11 Pharaoh then summoned wise men and sorcerers, and the Egyptian magicians also did the same things by their secret arts:

They come as "Lights"; they sound good, walk in "good" standing, in fact, they are VERY NICE that you wouldn't think anything is wrong. That's the problem!

If it doesn't point you to Christ - SHUT THE DOOR AND RUN! If it doesn't show Christ as the Door by any means or glorify the Christ as Divine, God's Son, and the Only Way to the Father and eternal life and you've been an active or inactive part of it, REPENT, sever the tie, thank GOD for this blog, and decided that you will no longer walk in ignorance.

Make a committment to faithfully study the Word of God and walk in His Truth so that you can be able to discern the times and avoid making covenants with pagan practices that is so commonly made among God's people.

Let the Word of the LORD expose where deception lives and darkness reigns!

Recognize the Signs of Time

People who profess to be guides and spiritual leaders are nothing more than the old familiar spirit of the 21st Century Pharisees and Sadducees movement.  They have entered through another way and have usurped dominion that doesn't belong to them.  They ARE NOT SENT BY GOD, set up their own thrones to be shepherds, guides, and rulers of themselves and people.  They deny the Christ and are blind leading the blind; therefore, they are considered thieves and robbers. 

Jesus admonished us in Matthew 7:13 to enter through the Strait Gate.  If you go in any other way, you are considered a thief and a robber.  Why?  Because there is ONLY ONE WAY - ONE CORRECT and LEGAL WAY that has been given to man to enter into the sheepfold.  JESUS IS THE DOOR! 

The "Path", “spiritual journey”, or the "great highway" that many are seeking and many tread on today is BROAD and MANY you will find there.  The way of the ungodly is broad, and in every way, agreeable to the flesh, full of vices, and carries with it a wealth of grand company.  However, its end leads and is destruction.  They bow, worship, give credence, and pray to idols, and if fallen, CAN’T GET UP, let alone, speak, hear or answer ANY prayers. 

Watch for the hireling - the false teachers, guides, and "spiritists" who DO NOT teach the teachings of Christ but of SOME OTHER.  We are greatly surrounded by these false teachers of religions and doctrines, but the TRUE SHEPHERDS of the CHURCH enter through the INFLUENCES OF JESUS CHRIST – NONE OTHER!   

Recognize the signs of time.  STAY VIGILANT and close to JESUS more than ever.  Mark 6:11 says, “And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them.”  Luke 10:11 says, “Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.”  Ezekiel 2:5 And whether they listen or fail to listen--for they are a rebellious house--they will know that a prophet has been among them.

MISUNDERSTANDING is Like Cancer on Speed

When you are on the battlefield, especially for souls, it can be easy to get "side-tracked" if you are not on your best guard. The enemy is always devising plans to disturb the peace of mind of God's people and take their focus off their mission. One of the ways the enemy uses to accomplish this is through misunderstanding.

All strife and quarrels start with a misunderstanding of some sort. ...

Misunderstanding is like cancer on speed. It can kill relationships in a heartbeat; relationships that you really love and may even desire to keep.

But misunderstanding can strike at a moments notice, and before you know it, you are ensnared and swept away in its ugly currents. Romans 12:18 says, "If it be possible, as much as lies in you, live peaceably with all men." In other words, if it is possible or if it can be done. However, the apostle knew that it would sometimes be difficult to get into and maintain such a state of peace, yet, he admonishes to be at peace with others even if they are not.

But what do you do when you encounter people who fail to understand a given situation after attempts to bring clarity and understanding? Don't stay in stuck zone, pray, forgive, be resolute and keep it moving. My experience has taught me that TRUTH doesn't always have a soft sweet sound and there will be times you will have to shut the open windows, doors, gates, cracks, and any loop hole that filters in the dissension and confusion before it overwhelms and consumes you.

As a child of God, you will always be the object of harsh criticism, and if you're popular enough, you'll even make it to the tabletop discussions of Roast Sunday or Tuesday's lunch or dinner. So determine to keep it moving.

An emotional reaction of frustration is the typical result when someone experiences something not making sense the first time - MISUNDERSTANDING.

Come Out, Come Out Wherever You Are

Calling on all wounded, hurting, and faking it to you make it leaders. Come out, come out, wherever you are! The LORD is calling you out of your secret hurting hiding place.

If you are tired of playing "hide & seek", I've come to let you know that you don't need to hide anymore; God has real people to help you with your REAL ISSUE.

I know it's hard as leaders to be transparent about what you...

are undergoing; trying to be strong for the many that look up to you. You don't have to pretend to "be strong" to the point of doing yourself injustice; to the point of missing out on jumping into the troubled waters.

If it hurts, find a spiritual mother or father, spiritual mentor of integrity to talk to. It only gets worse when you keep SILENT; SILENT like that child who has been molested and has been told or scared into not telling.

If you are dying, why sit there and die? Cry out in the name of Jesus; for surely the LORD will make a way of escape. But when He does, take it, for no man is an island.
Not everyone is out to harm you or cause you ill. Not everyone wishes you to fail or fall. Not everyone GOSSIPS. You don't have to pray with one eye opened as some have been taught.

Just because you have had some bad experiences does not conclude EVERYONE functions like that. There are some real comrades on the field of life, ordained, anointed, and appointed by God to help rescue you. Many of us have been RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE!

SEND out your S.O.S. signal so that the soldiers can find you. Fulfill your assignment until the LORD sends help. If He sends you a ship, take it. If He sends you a boat, take it. If He sends you a dingy, take it. If He throws you out a life preserver, take it.

It may not come wrapped or packaged by your expectations - that's pride. Naaman was a proud man and was commanded to dip in the River Jordan seven times to be cleansed. My point - the River Jordan was not the cleanest of rivers. But his obedience to do what the man of God instructed reaped a great reward - his healing. Read 1 Kings 5.

When a man becomes desperate enough to be free, not even pride can keep him from receiving. When a woman is in labor and the baby is about to be born, the shame of "spreading it" leaves. All she wants to do is to push the baby out as she becomes vulnerable and places her trust in the midwives and doctors God has assigned to assist her.
You've got to come to a place of desperation; a place that seeks whatever and however God desires to do it.

If you are desperate enough to be free from that hurt, from that secret, from that pain that haunts and taunts you in the solitude of your midnight hour, then I say CRY OUT. Call upon Jesus and He will send an answer.

The question then remains, will you accept the answer when it comes. Will you embrace the opportunity or the life-preserver thrown to you or will you allow pride to continue to drive your life into a deeper state of horror?

He that hath an ear let him hear what the Spirit of God is saying.

Get Over IT or IT Will Get Over On You!

Let your "testing" draw you closer to God not away from Him. It is the enemy's desire to accomplish just that when you are tested and tried.

Remember Job when he went through? He even had to shut down the mouth of "foolish" talking from the closest people in his life who had stopped believing along the way.

When things go wrong, you don't have to go wrong with them. Job was blessed at the end because of his determination to hold on to his change and promises from the God that he loved and served. Only you can forfeit your blessings when you allow your choices to lead you astray.

Many want the blessing of the Lord but don't want to endure and carry their cross. Your disobedience, unyielding and murmuring behavior and ways will keep you stuck in the "in between" and wilderness of your journey. In fact, some of your ungodly attitudes still have you stuck in Egypt. It is going to be either God's way or NO WAY.

The quicker you drink of YOUR bitter cup, embrace YOUR suffering, QUIT acting like a spoiled two year old throwing tantrums, and SURRENDER and BOW to the will of God is the quicker you'll experience your place of victory.

In some testings, you won't experience a celebration, an appreciation, or a pat on the back, instead, you'll be the "talk" of the town and the object of much undeserved criticisms from people who have - to tell you the truth - never really been through anything themselves .... YET!

There are some testings where you WON'T be able to take your your personal cheerleaders, loved ones, and best friends with you, in fact, some of them may even fall asleep on you (they did on Jesus - read Matt. 26:40). Job had three foolish best friends discussing and talking about his situation, yet, not discerning the work of God in Job's life - read Job. Remember? Hello?

So when you are feeling lonely, get over it; so did Jesus. When you are feeling abandoned; get over it; so did Jesus. When your best friend's cannot discern the call and work of God in your life; get over it and keep praying for them. They'll be the same ones you will have to come back and minister to when it's all said and done. When you feel like the cup is too bitter; drink it anyway; Jesus did, and He has equipped and enabled you with His grace to do so as well.

So now that I have eliminated and destroy every EXCUSE for the reasons you keep wallowing in your pity party that no one ever really comes to anyway, determine to place no more excuses in front of the Cross. Determine that you will be who God has ordained and predestined you to be before the foundations of the world. 

Just like the caterpillar is predestined to become a butterfly and soar, so ARE YOU. But you must go through your complete metamorphosis in order to obtain your wings and fly.  Your dirt eating days, like the caterpillar, are filled with nutrients and strength to prepare you for your next phase of your Christian journey soldier. So don't despise them. They are meant to prepare you.

It's YOUR JOB to keep going regardless. It's YOUR JOB to pick up YOUR CROSS and follow Jesus. It's YOUR JOB to pick up YOUR BED and walk. No one else can do it for you. IT'S YOUR JOB!!! 

Now, go forth in the strength of the Greater One that resides in you, in Jesus' Name.  The rest is up to you ...

Comfort and Companionship Versus Contradiction and Confusion

I have a teacher that is always with me. Everywhere I go, He is there to provide comfort and companionship. I'm not talking about my conscience, which is God's built-in warning system and we thank Him for it. I'm not speaking about my intuition, gut feeling, or my perception, which are very useful. I am referring to the precious Holy Spirit of God that indwells every believer.

Jesus said, "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:" ~John 14:26, John 15:26

The Holy Ghost will ALWAYS testify of Jesus. Jesus is always the highlight of His conversations.

There are many "spirits", many "ghost" but they aren't holy. That is why the Lord called him the Holy Ghost so that you could distinguish, identity and recognize him.

1 John 4:1 says, "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."

Anything that would take from the Glory of God is not of God. I don't care how sweet, how right, how believable, how good, or even how "accurate" they may be. If it doesn't line up with the Word of God, it isn't from God.

Let us remember to use the Word of God as our measuring stick. 2 Timothy 3:16 says, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works."

Tears are a Language God Understands

My tears are another language; a language of unspoken words and a result of the brokenness that filters through my soul. The elements of my tears help to mold and shape who I am, it builds character, and draws me closer to a loving God in the midst of turmoil and pain. 

The land of my tears is a secret place; a place where I can surrender, become totally vulnerable, and yet, be restored, healed, and set free all at the same time in the face of a tender Savior.  My tears are a gift from my God and they are so precious that each is stored in beautifully arrayed bottles that yield the priceless treasures of life. 

My tears fertilize the growth of forgiveness, love, tenderness, and compassion. My tears are not a sign of weakness but an oasis of the strength that spurs from my garden. My tears are the foundation of my worship, for therein, does true worship from the heart begins.

What Part of the Body Are You?

Different members; one body. We would flow and function a lot better if we operate within the parameters of our calling. If you're a foot, do your job and take us where we need to go; if you're an eye, stay focused on the target; if you're a hand, please know if your right-handed or left-handed; if you're an ear, make sure you are tuned into the right station, plus, our lives depend greatly on the ability to hear the right instructions; if you're a mouth, don't open it until God tells you to open it and only to eat; if you're a colon (not a very comely part but very much needed), you serve to help filter out the garbage and toxins that try to infiltrate our system - we can't do without you. What's my point?

Imagine this: The hands trying to carry you to the car. Not impossible, right? But the hand is not designed to walk you to the car the foot is. We'd get there but it would take double or triple the time and with complications. We need to know what position we hold in the Body of Christ, step in it, and then stay in our lanes. This eliminates a lot of confusion and division, which only opens the doors to jealousy and carnal manipulations. We don't need to try and outdo each other rather work with one mind, one heart, one spirit ... then and only then will we be productively progressive in God's Kingdom.

Many Have Said, This is the Way but Jesus Said, I AM THE WAY!

If ANY (person, entity, religion, cult, group, what-evAH) denies that Jesus is Lord, the Son of God, he is a liar and the spirit of God IS NOT IN HIM.

1 John 2:22 - Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son.

In other words, who is false or guilty of the lie just mentioned in this Scripture verse? Man cannot have a just view of God the Father if their apprehensions of His Son Jesus are incorrect. You CANNOT get to the Father without going through HIS SON.  

John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Use the Word of God as your measuring stick to know who is who and what is what: he that denies the Christ moves in the spirit of the antichrist, and any false doctrine or belief will always deny the person of Christ and His office and teach that "this is the way" when Jesus plainly taught "I AM THE WAY".

1 John 4:3 - But EVERY spirit that DOES NOT acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, who has loved us, and has given us everlasting encouragement and good hope through grace, encourage your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work. 2 Thess. 2:16-17.
Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. 2 Thess.3:1-2

Please pray for me as I am out on the field. Pray that the eyes of the blind be opened to God's Truth and that His Word brings healing and restoration and sets them FREE!

Are You Serving Roast Pastor for Dinner & a Slice of Wife for Dessert?

What did you have for dinner today? Was "Roast Pastor" the main course with a side of "slice the wife" for dessert?

When God gave us shepherds (pastors), He didn't give us leaders who would always agree with us or minister messages that would make us feel good all the time.

Pastors serve to challenge you, empower you to get up from your situation and make the changes necessary in order to bring you into your assigned place in Christ. Pastors feed you the meat of God's heart, and that may mean "most times" feasting on meals you may not necessarily like or desire in your "diet".

So the next time you want to have "roast your pastor" for dinner and complain about what he did or didn't do, say or didn't say, why not breathe a word of prayer and ask the Lord to keep his foot from being tripped, tricked, or trapped. Pray that his eyes and ears be guarded and that he pursues a heart for God that knows no boundaries. Pray that the Lord will use him/her mightily and that the anointing of Christ be seen in each service and heard in each message. Pray that God surround him/her with believers that will uphold him, encourage him, be there for him, and pray for the expansion and growth of the ministry.

While we are yet still on the subject, if your pastor is married, please DON'T FORGET to pray for her too; for she is a vital part (or should be if she's not) of the ministry and the man of God's life and she co-pastors with her husband (whether it's acknowledged or not). Too many folks try to make the pastor's wife "irrelevant" and behave almost like she's non-existent. They fail to recognize that she is God's vessel too.

So, the next time you are "tempted" to serve "roast pastor" for dinner and his wife for "dessert", why not decide to serve a plate of "thanksgiving" seasoned with God's love and sprinkled with His grace instead. Ask God to help YOU and show YOU HOW to be a blessing to them. Who knows, one day you may just be called to the office of a pastor or you may be called to serve with your husband as a "pastor's wife".

Lord, help us to keep our words short and sweet just in case we ever have to eat them.

The Great Grace of God

The early Churches of Acts 4 didn't hide behind a religious rug when they were threatened and commanded not to preach or teach anymore in Jesus' name. How they reacted to the threats is a very important lesson for us to learn today. What was it that they did to cause God to respond with GREAT GRACE?

The POWER was turned up when they PRAYED. They didn't focus on the problem but on the solution. They prayed that God would grant them BOLDNESS TO CONTINUE onward.

If you are being harassed or threatened today because of Jesus, turn the POWER of PRAYER on and WATCH the Lord intervene on your behalf.

Exodus 14:13 - And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

Time for Some New Clothes!

There's got to be a CHANGE OF CLOTHES in order to effectively run this race and enter the palace. Get EGYPT out of your language, lifestyle, and character because EGYPT is a reflection of sin and bondage that will always keep you looking from the outside in.

Strip off anything that would impede your progress in Christ. Cast off anything that is readily occurring in your lifestyle that would hinder, obstruct, or slow down your course. Sin is a weight that causes us to tilt over.

By allowing the Word of God to strip us daily, we allow room for the augmentation of Godly fruit to overtake and replace.

Got Criticism?

Critical people will often times question the call of God on your life. Be resolute, steadfast, immovable, and unshakeable. Jesus didn't go around trying to "prove" who He was. He just WAS and DID according to what He was called to do by the Father regardless of what others thought.

His life was a living example. Let your life be a "LIVING EXAMPLE" and when all is said and done, "Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation." 1 Peter 2:12. And in doing so, thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward you (Proverbs 25:22).

The "heap coals of fire upon his head" is not to indicate an added punishment or condemnation on the individual but more of a "melting the individual into kindness", genuine repentance for the person injured, and a cause for self-examination that causes a "turning away" from his misbehavior.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven - Matthew 5:16.

Thirsty?

The Lord speaks to our condition and will always offer a way out. Remember the woman of Samaria.

In John chapter 4, the story is told of this woman's life that radically changed after an encounter with the Jesus. Her lifestyle was a repeated cycle; an addiction, which led her to believe that there was no way out. Jesus has the power to eradicate whatever sin has you in bondage, boxed up, locked up, and imprisoned.

When your life begins to run on empty, Jesus is sitting and waiting at your well; waiting to offer you living waters that spring from the belly of God. You will NEVER THIRST AGAIN!

God's Word is TRUTH on Any Subject Matter

 
We must be RADICALLY Word filled in order to refute many of the world's humanistic readings, teachings, and philosophies.  In order to "demolish arguments" and "pretension" (2 Corinthians 10:5), we must divide the Word of Truth intelligently and accurately by the leading of God's Holy Spirit. 

How you "feel" or "think" about a matter doesn't necessarily make it truth. What defines truth is what the Word of God - THE BIBLE teaches and has to say about the subject.

That's My FINAL ANSWER!

The ONLY flag (banner) I will raise is that of the Lord Jesus Christ and what His Word teaches. America has changed and is legalizing laws that are contrary to what the Bible teaches. Now, we shall begin to see WHO IS ON THE LORD'S SIDE! 

Hold your POSITION when OPPOSITION comes, people of God and remember the three Hebrew Boys, Daniel, Elijah, David, and all of our ancestors who CHOSE to BELIEVE and TRUST God in times of adversity. 

Psalm 21:1 says, "The LORD is my light and my salvation--whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life--of whom shall I be afraid?"

I LIVE in a doubled-glass house - I am an ordained minister/pastor and am married to a Mayor.  I'm not here because I think I'm cute and got it like that.   I'm here because I am SENT.   I'm here because I'm COMMISSIONED.  I'm here because I'm APPOINTED and ANOINTED.   I'm here because I am CHOSEN.  I'm here because He CALLED and I ANSWERED.   I am because HE IS! 

So, whether you like or dislike me, agree or disagree with me, leave me, curse me, ignore me, ostracize me, talk about me, exclude me from "your group", consider me "theologically" incorrect, or even politically incorrect" ... the WORD OF GOD STANDS ...

Stop the Whining and Grow Some Roots

STOP the wishful thinking and self searches that lead you to empty promises and disappointments. Your SINGLENESS is an opportunity for growth. LEARN to sit down long enough to GROW some roots, MATURE, and OBTAIN the victories over the Basic Daily Battles of Life 101. 

When God sees you fit enough for COMMITMENT and the RESPONSIBILITY for marriage, He will reveal your Boaz or Ruth to you. Don't you perceive that your Christ-centered noble choices is what will lead you to be at the right place at the right time but a repeated lesson is a lesson not learned? 

The children of Israel were less than two weeks from there promise land but it was their continued murmuring, complaining, and DISOBEDIENCE that kept them going in circles for forty years. If you have forty years to waste, keep doing it your way. Remember that placing the cart before the horse will always lead you to a destination called NOWHERE.

You CAN'T STOP a Child of God from Springing Forward

Just like you cannot stop SPRING from SPRINGING FORWARD, you CANNOT keep a child of the Kingdom from bouncing back. I don't care what kind or type of crisis hit you, slapped you, or totally knocked you off your feet.

Your setback is a setup that God will use as a platform to show and exhibit His POWER and MIGHT. And all the world will see that you are called of the Lord, and just when they thought you were out of the race, you were actually being PREPARED and tutored by the Hand of God Himself.

God's people have the fountain of life springing out of them. The enemy says YOU CAN'T, but he is a LIAR and the father of it! Now, get up, go, and do what YOU KNOW God said to do.

It doesn't matter how many times you've tried, failed, or missed it. GET UP and START AGAIN! Why sit there and die? STOP HOSTING and wasting time in pity parties that no one ever really come to.

God will take your MESS and turn it into a MESSAGE; the PLOT forged against you to nullify the call of God on your life will be the very LOT your feet will STAND UPON in VICTORY. He'll take all the WRONG done to you and turn it into a magnificent and glorious SONG.

Oooooh, the glory that awaits those who ENDURE 'till the end. CHOOSE TO DANCE! Make a CHOICE; make a decision to dance in the rain. Dance in the midst of your storm, and watch the peace of God reign over you. Hallelujah!!!!!!

Wait on the Lord and be of good courage and He will strengthen your heart. Wait, I say on the Lord (Psalm 27:14).

Psalm 143:8 - Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.

Use the Word of God as Your MEASURING STICK!

Christianity IS NOT DEFINED by man's standard but measured by the WORD OF GOD and what it teaches about every aspect of living. You are in grave error if you think you can altar the Word of God to suit perverted stinking thinking and any kind or type of living. 

Sorry, but I WILL NOT yield to conformity for popularity, position, or prestige. The time will come, and now is, that you will begin to publicly see WHO IS ON THE LORD'S SIDE! Not everyone that says "Lord, Lord" will enter into the Kingdom but he THAT DOES THE WILL OF THE FATHER (Matt. 7:21). 

LOVE, and I mean LOVE the sinner but hate the sin. I long for the days of old where righteous kings led and were not afraid to declare that Word of the Lord. May the Lord raise up some Moses', Joshua's, Jeremiah's, Elijah's, and many others who weren't afraid to speak out against sin and were Kingdom shakers and movers. May the Lord have mercy on America!

To Whack or Be WHACKED!

Hmmm ... what kind of fruit is growing and being seen in my garden lately? Ya' know, a girl's got to take a microscopic look into her spiritual garden very often. If left unattended too long, you'll find that unwanted infiltrators are always on the move attempting to sneak in to camouflage and cohabit with us. I promise to report what I find, good or bad, as the excavation is in process.

Who knows what we'll find? Some treasures? Unwanted disposals? We'z about to find out! It's gonna get a bit messy as we'll have to dig a bit deep. You see, sometimes the fruit won't show until the seed has taken root deep down. So if I appear to be looking like a sister in a fight, no worries, there might be just some cause to do some wacking, weed-eating, yanking, pulling, tearing, and snatching up once down there.

I'm just hoping nothing jumps out at me; I have an awful way of responding with an upper-cut and a ninja kick at anything that appears to even slightly move.

Okay, so time to dig a little dirt and ask the Lord to shine His awesome light into my garden. Let's see what we find!

Committee or Commitment?

People of God, learn to soar over others disparaging criticisms and remarks, and poorly displayed behavior AND PREACH THE WORD!  Stop biting into it and learn to handle people like Jesus did WHEN NECESSARY.   It is time you understood your position as a child of God and walk in the authority He's placed within you. The Truth of God and His Word brings conviction but offense to those who are disobedient and those who reject sound doctrine to worship the works of their own hands.

I would love to see how "people" would handle what I call a Jesus Moment. John 2: 13-16:
13When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 14In the temple courts he found men selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. 15So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. 16To those who sold doves he said, “Get these out of here! How dare you turn my Father’s house into a market!”

Can you imagine the backlash and table-talk pastors would receive for taking the position Jesus did and responding to people who have taken the house of God and turned it into some "entertainment" center for money making purposes?

So what if people leave your church for speaking God's Truth? It is the Lord who adds to the church (Acts 2:47). So what if you lose "their" monthly tithes and offerings? Jehovah-jireh is your Provider (Genesis 22:14).

When God sent His son, He DID NOT SEND A COMMITTEE! I have never seen pastors "moved around" like puppets and replaced if the "people" don't like or want you.

I was in my teens when the Lord gave me Jeremiah 1:1-19. I have my breastplate on! 13And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward the north. 14Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land. 15For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah. 16And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands. 17Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them. 18For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land. 19And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.

If this is an area of struggle, ask the Lord to give you a back like a duck - when the water hits, it rolls right off.

1 Peter 2:7-10 -Unto you therefore who believe he is precious: but unto them who are disobedient, the stone which the builders rejected, the same is made the head of the corner, 8And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

9But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 10Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

S.T.A.R.S. Don't Fit Into Circles

Remember that God's children are STARS (Servants To the Anointed Risen Savior) and STARS don't fit into circles. If that be the case, let the only "circle" you belong to be that of His never-ending extended love for all people. 

 

A FB friend posted something to the effect a few days ago (can't remember which friend it was :/... but I sure wish they had a Super-LIKE button, but anyway, it went something like this: "God likes (loves) the people you don't". OUCH!

So, let me get to the crux of my message without beating around any bushes. The best and quickest way to get rid of our prejudices and pride is to first acknowledge that it exists, then ask God to REMOVE it, AND THEN (this is the best part) … let others SEE IT by your example. TO KNOW GOD is to FLOW in what He moves in; and He doesn’t move in tainted LOVE.

Many say they "serve" the Lord, but you will find that the "many that are serving" are hypocritical in their "love and in their hearts", which isn't Christ's love at all because Christ's love has no "barriers" or "limitations" or "partialities". You may fool people some of the times but you can't fool God; and you can't fool His anointed because the secret things God reveals to His servants.

Another friend once posted many moons ago (again, I can't remember her name either :/...) but anyways, she gave an excellent interpretation of the God kind of love. It is found in this acronym: C.O.L.O.R. - Commandments Of Love Overcome Race. POW! Again, I wish there had been a SUPER-LIKE button.

So, in your journey with Christ (we all have to start somewhere), if you find along the way that you are struggling with the "spirit of prejudice", which is sinful, prideful, and hateful, ask the Lord to forgive you and then CHANGE! There is NO WAY that as a child of God you can ever STAY THE SAME, unless there is a spiritual leak somewhere in your gas tank and the Word of the Lord can never take root in your life long enough so that "CHANGE" can occur.

James 3:17 reads, "But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, WITHOUT PARTIALITY, and WITHOUT HYPOCRISY." Wow ...

Finally, let us examine "our hearts", and when the light of the Holy Spirit shines upon a "fungus (sin)", don't DENY that it's there but CONFESS IT like you would any other sin, and then DEAL WITH IT. Change CANNOT OCCUR without your cooperation, and you sitting among the roses doesn’t make you flower anymore than a person going to church or saying they are Christians make them a Christian.

What defines real bona-fide Christianity is the lifestyle that we live ACCORDING to the Written Word, not our ideologies or the poor and weak excuse we make “that’s just how I was raised”. You’d be surprised at how much our parents (as good as they were or as bad as they were) and CULTURE have negatively influenced our behavior and mindsets. There’s a saying, “Somethings are TAUGHT and somethings are CAUGHT”. Well, many of us were “taught” how to be prejudice by the people we love and look up to. That’s why we are admonished to “PUT ON CHRIST” because doing so is like putting on NEW CLOTHES – Galatians 3:27

The word Christian means follower of Christ, disciple one; Christ-like. So, if we say that we are followers of Christ, then should not our walk and talk line up with that of Jesus? Remember this, Christ died for ALL mankind, not a “sect or group” of people or a certain “color” of people. John 3:16 says, “For God so LOVED THE WORLD (all inclusive) that He gave His only begotten Son; that WHOSOEVER (anybody) believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”

Oh, and one last thing, if this message pricks the heart, it’s a good sign. Our conscience is God's warning system - be happy when it bothers you, be worried when it doesn't. But if you REJECT this message, you are not rejecting me but the One who sent me. I don’t take things personal and am not easily offended. For I would rather be separated by TRUTH than united by LIES.

I’m always here to pray with you and for you. For I am a woman of many nations – I LOVE ALL LIKE MY JESUS!
