He's Too Close If He's Whispering In Your Ear

The enemy has a subtle way of whispering sweet "nothings" into spiritually lax ears. If you are desperate enough, you will believe anything as the fruit of his love extends to you in sultry and tantalizing shiny reds.

His words are really comforting, soothing, and mesmerizing. They will speak everything your thirsty and dessicated soul wants to hear. His fallacious words are smothered with pride and lust causing you to crave the forbidden and that which the LORD has said, “Do not touch”. Oh, how his words are extravagant, as he promises you a world he does not own.

Sadly, at the end of the sweetness will follow a bitter jolt of regrettable consequences. At the end of the bite, the sting of deception that has infiltrated into your soul will leave you blind and naked; opened and exposed to the elements; uncovered in your shame. Its poison that has streamlined into your soil has arrived in all its brutality to spoil the vines of vision, beauty and anything pure.

Once you have been inoculated with his DNA, the poisonous worm spreads to catapult you straight outside the will of GOD, and before you can blink, you are on the "other side" of everything you were once against.

Eventually, you will find yourself making excuses for your behavior like Adam and Eve. You blame others for your dead-end experiences while never once given thought to the damage that was caused by the work of your own hand.

Oh, if only man would listen to the instructions of the Father. Oh, if man would only take heed to the call of repentance. Oh, if only man would yield to the grace that was spread as far as the east is from the west. Oh, if only man would surrender to the will of GOD. Oh, if man would turn from their wicked ways.

But disobedience has glossed the lips of man, numbing the spiritual senses. For each man is tempted when he is carried away of his own lust and enticed. You see, it was your lust that was already in you that has emerged and now parading in all of its glory. Yes, the one you refuse to crucify, repent of, confess, and put away from you has now smitten you.

And so, when your lust has captivated and consumed you, it lays down with temptation and you become impregnated giving birth to sin. That sin grows inside you produces the greatest depression, division, and disorder in your life until the results that can be seen is death – the death of your marriage, death of your integrity, death of your virtue, death of relationships, and the death of all that was once pure and beautiful.

He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the church.
