In Lodebar there is nothing but wasted land and barrenness. There are no green pastures and nothing beautiful to behold. Many of GOD’s people are in Lodebar – below the bar of living in GOD’s resting place, peace, and prosperity. But how does one find himself in Lodebar?
There are many factors that can lead one to the Lodebar experience:
*It could be by someone that failed you, and because of their decision, your whole life is now gravely affected – and it wasn’t even your fault.
*You may have been carried but dropped by someone else’s trip or fall (sin) and landed in Lodebar. And now, because you were dropped, you have become crippled and lamed for the rest of your life. Like the child Mephibosheth, you cannot walk straight anymore. You try but you keep falling.
*Your own disobedience and out of will decisions could also land you there.
Lodebar was a city that was east of the Jordan River and it was known for its devastated wastelands where no greenery or pastures were found. It was in the very heart of the wilderness. It was a very low place. It was a place where lack, disease, and defeat reigned at its highest peak.
In Lodebar, you will lose your rank, prestige, your reputation, and even the ability to dream again. The Lodebar experience moves you from a position of power to fear. It disconnects you from your royal lineage to servanthood and it replaces your palace of plenty to now hiding in fear and lack.
In Lodebar, you are crippled and impaired by your past, your hurts, disappointment, despair, and defeat. You are so consumed in fear that the love and passion you once held for life no longer exists.
In Lodebar, there is much turmoil. The pain inflicted upon your life is a constant reminder that blinds your ability to have any vision or hope for the future. So, you stay down under in low-the-bar; in exile.
But TODAY, I call YOU OUT OF LODEBAR! You don’t belong there! Christ paid it all and is in search for the lost sheep of the Kingdom. The Father sent the SON who has kept his promise to restore us back to Him. He is calling you to sit at His table and to eat and feast with Him.
There is nothing but DEATH in Lodebar. Don’t let your past hurts or your mistakes KEEP YOU there. GOD has a plan for you OUTSIDE of Lodebar but you MUST COME OUT in JESUS’ name. ~Narda Goodson, 2013 Daily Doses of Gospel "PiLLs"
