We are living in a day where people are throwing away their spouses and families like yesterday's garbage.
Why? Because "THEIR SELFISH" desires, wants, and lust becomes the DRIVING FORCE above any damage inflicted upon the children and the desire to seek GOD who has the CURE for all marital ailments. If you can't trust GOD when your life is at its worst and when it counts the most, then when can you? More importantly, when will you?
The 80/20 percent syndrome is running at its full speed. Spouses leaving, abandoning, walking away from the 80 percent for the measly 20. The 80 percent of working and building together, the 80 percent of investment and time, the 80 percent of nurturing, raising, and family development, the 80 percent of what was already established, the 80 percent of all of them to all of you and all of you to all of them. They are walking away from that which is wholesome, faithful, committed, and pure. They are walking away from truth, My Truth.
You were a positive +20 away from reaching your 100, only to be distracted and drawn away by the negative -20 that did nothing but strip you of your integrity, your walk, your character, your honor, your peace, your virtue, and all the years that you invested in the sowing of your land.
You didn't walk circumspectly and vigilantly like I admonished. You ate the bread of idleness., and as you became spiritually numb, you didn't discern that it was the enemy coming in full force to tear you away from your secured place; the place where Christ had you rooted and grounded. Yet, your greed and lust caused you to lose a lot more than you bargained for, because now, your children are suffering as a result.
You opened doors that were meant to stay close for your safety and protection. Your own disobedience awakened the giants you now battle. You tore the walls and defense of your own home with the works of your own hands and now you are left open and naked.
Yet, GOD's hand isn't too short that it cannot reach into the lowly of lowliest and darkest places and pull you back to the place He has created and designed for you. That beautiful place of light and love and where Christ was your first love.
Draw nigh unto me and I will draw unto you. I can restore all the years that the canker worm and locust have stolen. But there must be true repentance and a turn from your wicked ways.
My son, Solomon, looked through his bedroom window one night and this is what he saw and recorded. He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church. ~2013 Narda Goodson,Marriage and Me - Enrichment Resources & Tips
Proverbs 7
1My son, keep my words
and store up my commands within you.
2Keep my commands and you will live;
guard my teachings as the apple of your eye.
3Bind them on your fingers;
write them on the tablet of your heart.
4Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,”
and to insight, “You are my relative.”
5They will keep you from the adulterous woman,
from the wayward woman with her seductive words.
6At the window of my house
I looked down through the lattice.
7I saw among the simple,
I noticed among the young men,
a youth who had no sense.
8He was going down the street near her corner,
walking along in the direction of her house
9at twilight, as the day was fading,
as the dark of night set in.
10Then out came a woman to meet him,
dressed like a prostitute and with crafty intent.
11(She is unruly and defiant,
her feet never stay at home;
12now in the street, now in the squares,
at every corner she lurks.)
13She took hold of him and kissed him
and with a brazen face she said:
14“Today I fulfilled my vows,
and I have food from my fellowship offering at home.
15So I came out to meet you;
I looked for you and have found you!
16I have covered my bed
with colored linens from Egypt.
17I have perfumed my bed
with myrrh, aloes and cinnamon.
18Come, let’s drink deeply of love till morning;
let’s enjoy ourselves with love!
19My husband is not at home;
he has gone on a long journey.
20He took his purse filled with money
and will not be home till full moon.”
21With persuasive words she led him astray;
she seduced him with her smooth talk.
22All at once he followed her
like an ox going to the slaughter,
like a deera stepping into a noose
23till an arrow pierces his liver,
like a bird darting into a snare,
little knowing it will cost him his life.
24Now then, my sons, listen to me;
pay attention to what I say.
25Do not let your heart turn to her ways
or stray into her paths.
26Many are the victims she has brought down;
her slain are a mighty throng.
27Her house is a highway to the grave,
leading down to the chambers of death.
THE WARNING: Keep AWAY from the seducer or the seductress.
1 My son, keep my words
and treasure up my commandments with you;
2 keep my commandments and live;
keep my teaching as the apple of your eye;
3 bind them on your fingers;
write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,”
and call insight your intimate friend,
5 to keep you from the forbidden woman,
from the adulteress with her smooth words.
He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying unto the Church.
