Are You PIT-i-FULL or FULL of Pity?

When people reject you for who you are, don't take it personally. Many were hated for the cause of Christ. Sometimes, you don't even have to be hated for anything that you've done. Simply being who you are can be enough.

Joseph had a dream and a coat of many colors, yet, he was hated for it. He was considered a threat simply because of who he was. Do you know that some people can see your potential and gifting, which can initiate a response of jealousy?

The enemy uses people like how GOD uses people. Who you are becoming in Christ is to be considered dangerous, so like Joseph, you will experience the PIT - a deserted, lonely, and dark place. You will also experience the wrath of Potipher's House - the place of compromise and temptation. From there, you will encounter the PRISON - the place of accusations and ridicule for something false but also the place where you will choose how you REACT or RESPOND to your accusers.

The level of your response in your attitude will determine the altitude. It is in the Pit of discouragement and injustice that GOD is shaping character and integrity in you. Don't despise your PIT-i-FULL experience because it will serve as a great stepping stone in your ministry.

Let the joy of the LORD be your strength, and may this WORD dispel any spirit of rejection you are experiencing. You are right where the Father wants you. Now, let Him use the tools needed to bring about the change in you. When your PIT-i-FULL lesson is complete, your PROMOTION will take you straight into PHAROAH'S PALACE where you will serve as a PROMISE of GOD's light and love in darkness. ~Narda Goodson, 2013 Will the REAL ME Please Stand Up!

Call My Name

Sometimes the anguish of our pain can cause an ocean of tears to flow. If you are a woman like me, then you've probably have had your share of disappointments and hurt. However, it is during those times that I have learned that navigating the course of life's journey can turn deadly.

Our hearts can become so engulfed in the pool of our tears that we an actually begin to drown in its flood. Our tears have the ability to blur any vision of hope and direction, and while you helplessly attempt to paddle your way through the streams for survival, the menacing undercurrents can pull you down even further.

Mary's heart was so consumed by her loss that she failed to recognize JESUS who had been standing right next to her. Even after conversing with Him, she still had not come to full terms that it was HE, the one she was looking for, the One she loved and adored lovingly watching her every move.

Are you like Mary today? Has life left you feeling empty? Has the pain of your loss consumed your world that your tears are now leaving you seeing everything a blur to the point you cannot see straight anymore?

It wasn't until JESUS spoke Mary's name that she came to herself. You see, there is something about when JESUS calls our name. When HE does, He touches the very core of who we are while bringing everything back into a clear focus. When HE calls our name HE touches the very heart of our existence and our reason for living.

I'm so happy that JESUS called my name. I'm so happy that HE never left me to drown in my sorrows but from the grave of despair lifted me up and out.

Today, if you are at the graveside mourning your dead dreams, your dead relationship, your broken and shattered world, I wish to offer you hope through the anointed Risen Savior, JESUS CHRIST the LORD who is standing right next to you. Hear Him call your name and then let Him dry your tears. You will see clearly again when HE puts your life back together, resurrect you, and move you from your graveside to a place of victory where you will know His comfort and the joy of His salvation. ~Narda Goodson, 2013 Daily Doses of Gospel "PiLLs"
